I still don't understand this joke from Rick and Morty. Do people really not shampoo their pubes? What do they wash their pubes with? If it's like body wash, is the different between shampoo and body wash so great that shampooing is to be made fun of?

Or is the joke just that it isn't a joke and is actually just a normal thing exaggerated for comedic effect?

I just don't know.
