But pretty clearly an issue of teaching drivers when they get their license and people the green cross code (or whatever equivalent you have to teach people how and when to cross the road safely) Like many things with America, it comes down to a refusal to teach and instil how to use things in a proper manner and likely not providing enough places for people to cross safely - be at a crossing or an open enough space for pedestrians and traffic to see one another. And anyway, going to detain someone because they were slightly rude and refusing to comply as the first step is pretty clearly an over reach. You honestly can't say a white guy wouldn't have been given a dozen or more chances to comply and much more consideration to walk somewhere safe. NoxObscuras posted... Pedestrians lost their right of way because car companies lobbied and inserted themselves in school safety lessons, enforcing that people were no longer allowed in the road and that vehicles now claimed right of way.
