WTF:

According to a report from the Grant County Coroners Office, a man said he was in a bedroom of the home when he heard loud screams from the living room. There, he found the family dog a Pit bull had attacked his mother, 69-year-old Kathleen Bertram.

Matthews Police Marshal Chet Johnson said Bertram had sat down in an uneven chair and fell to the floor. Her granddaughter started crying. The coroners office said Bertram holding the 3-year-old when she fell.

When the child began crying, Johnson said the dog charged into the living room and attacked Bertram as she laid on the floor. The coroners office said the dog bit down on the womans neck.

Medics found Bertram bleeding from both sides of her neck and began CPR on the woman. Due to the severity of her injuries, she was pronounced dead just before 3 p.m., the coroners office said.

The Fort Wayne Pitbull Coalition urged the public to remember that Pit bulls are not inherently aggressive. Coalition president Megan Close said any dog of any breed can be aggressive and it is the responsibility of the owner to teach them correctly.

This is really awful. Tbf though, chihuahuas are also extremely aggressive so you cant really draw any conclusions here.

We should create a government funded space where animals can roam free and theyre just provided with neuter/spy services and food/water. People train their animals like shit and they do actions they dont even understand and just get put down
