NoxObscuras 10/19/21 7:02:03 PM #9:	You can join a police station as a civilian employee. Depending on the department, they'll have clerical staff, mechanics, custodians, and/or IT. Large physically strong cops are simply superior for the typical duties and hazards involved in field work. Tiny cops are lightning rods for getting stomped by perps. Cornered criminals are less likely to bother escalating or running when confronted by large intimidating officers. Getting confronted by a smaller bodied officer actually INCOURAGES perps to attempt assault and flee, especially when the other officer that steps out of the squad car is just as small. The most effective cops are built like bruisers for the NFL.
