I like Smash Ultimate and Pokemon, but I remember being depressed when it was officially announced because of news that a particular character was returning from Brawl (Pokemon Trainer - who would resume controlling Charizard. I liked playing Charizard as a standalone character.)

Yes, I'm also the guy that's sensitive about Pokemon. Again...I'm totally pathetic and I may have mental issues.

I know, I'm really pathetic...but I can't help feeling this way. When it comes to something I'm passionate about, my emotions go haywire.

well imagine if charizard didn't get in at all

you can still use charizard without having to switch to the others, i'm not seeing the problem here

It's just I don't like the Pokemon Trainer being in the background and in the victory poses. Look it's stupid I know. But that's why most people won't understand.

i can understand not liking it or not preferring it, but like you said they're just in the background for the most part and you still have the character you like, is it really outright depressing to you? or does it just upset you a little? i don't mean to belittle your feelings but depression is a strong word

Not just upset a little - maybe somewhat - but then again I still got the game anyway, so maybe I wasn't as upset my the decision as I make it seem. But then again, maybe I overexaggerate things. Maybe I wasn't really depressed persay (I apologize for saying that.)
