whats with kids these days and not using any punctuation at all in texts or internet posts?

like i have literally seen messages typed like this where one sentence clearly ends and another begins these people just keep typing and dont stop or anything they dont even use capitals so its so fucking confusing to read i dont understand maybe its because im old
