"Look at these E-mails containing racist, sexist, and bigoted statements."

"Wow, that sounds absolutely horrible. May I see them?"

"No."

For the record, I 100% believe that Gruden absolutely said everything that he's been accused of.

I also believe that these E-mails would reveal that it's a lot more endemic than the NFL would ever have you believe. There's also probably some pretty damning stuff regarding the Kaepernick situation.

But I'm so tired of hearing stories about things said in E-mails when I'm not actually allowed to see the evidence for myself. It's not like these schmucks that are conveying the information to us are even remotely trustworthy, so why can't I just see it for myself?

It doesn't matter at this point. What matters to me is that the NFL knew about the abuse of cheerleaders for at least the last year and they covered it up with a sham investigation. Jay Gruden said on the team radio here that he was not ever interviewed by anyone doing the investigation. How do you not interview the 3rd most powerful man in the building, who was there for 5 years, specifically being there when said abuse was happening?

The investigator gave an oral report and that's it. There's no written report. We got 243 pages on Tom Brady's balls missing 1 PSI but nothing on cheerleaders being pimped out to VIP clients.

Unreal.

There's a reason the NFL decided to settle once Kaepernick's lawyers asked to see league emails.

Complete agreement. I really just want all the leagues to have their antitrust exemptions removed at a bare minimum. Don't reward these monsters any longer by illegalizing any sort of realistic competition. There's so much room for improvement and these fuckers need to sweat.
