I figure it's more McDonald's than BK because it's a clown being a mascot for a fast food place. It's not a 100% thing since McDonald's exists in the Simpsons universe. There just aren't any in Springfield.

That makes sense. So the krusty burgers are probably burger king, but everything else is mcdonalds

i forget what item it was, but there was a krusty burger commercial where krusty took a bite and enthusiastically said "i don't mind the taste!" and it got me so cracked up
