we're (CE) basically in a verbal gang war at this point. it doesn't matter what you say, or who you say it to. if someone from another clique doesn't like you, they're going to use it against you.

What Cyric said probably deserved to get modded and he'd agree with that, even he admitted in that same topic that he's not immune to getting emotional and lashing out

He was right though when he said sktgamer brings up his personal tragedy to gain leverage in certain situations. And since he brought it up, Cyric went straight for the jugular. I've seen some people painting the situation as if Cyric brought it up out of the blue and that's just not how it went down

I think it was justified to bring up in that context, is what I'm saying. It wasn't for leverage. It was likely out of frustration, yes, but it was justified. I get pissed whenever PoundGarden argues with me because he mocked my kitten that passed on. It's not like that never happened, it's perfectly fine for me to bring up. Did Cyric ever apologize? Of course not...so, yeah, perfectly fine in my eyes.

Cyric's comment, obviously, was not justified and just fucked up.

I'm not going to bat for Cyric saying something fucked up, but you can't really give sktgamer a pass for the things he was saying past that point either. Like I said, it quickly escalated into an emotional argument that they both felt super attached to, and in situations like that, something fucked up is gonna come out. I've seen it, I've done it, and I've been on the receiving end. It happens.
