I use mage 70% of the time, warrior 20% and bow for rogue characters, but never daggers they always seem like poor man's swords even though they have completely different functions

Yeah, I was never that big on those characters either. I'd play one in Skyrim for the 13x stealth crit multiplier that lets you slit throats, but generally, I'd rather swing a gigantor 2H axe or something.

I like only using my hand blades in AC: Black Flag. Parrying with them and shoving one in a red coats neck is awesome

In Skyrim, the Assassin's Dagger perk makes it a very formidable option,
It gave it like x12 sneak attack didnt it?

I play thieve type character because i'm not smart enough to be a mage and too physically weak to be a fighter and can only fight by playing dirty and using finesse

Im a sword and magic type of guy. Probably influenced by playing Kingdom Hearts and Dragon Quest. I like having a lot of options.

It's a 15x damage multiplier, it's huge. And it stacks with the Dark Brotherhood gear that doubles it again to 30x. It can carry you through almost any dungeon, especially when paired with invisibility spells/potions. The biggest shortcoming is against dragons where you can't really pull off a sneak attack, but you'll have plenty of time to make an alternate build for that while you ransack every dungeon with the sneaky stabby strategy.
I wanna play Skyrim again now. Damn.
