You'd be with, what you'd be doing?

I never went out until I moved out

And jokes on me I still don't go out

I lived in a rural-ish area and didn't have my own car so it was kinda a given lol. But my HS years were pretty much just staying up all night playing Xbox at friends' houses so

No. Sometimes I liked going out during storms at night. But now I'm old and when you're in your 20s, you can't act like you're 13 anymore. Your body is falling apart and you can't get out of bed in the morning.

Yes, always. My mom was (and still is really) a huge worry wart. If I didn't tell her that I was going to be out late, her mind immediately went worse case scenarios. Even in college, she still gave me a curfew because "it's dangerous to be out late"

No, but if I was spending the night at a friend's place, I'd let my mom know. She was cool about things though-- probably because I never got into any of the sort of trouble that she did as a teenager.

As a young kid but that's it.

By the time I was in high school my parents had no idea who any of my friends were, no idea where I went and hung out or what I did.

I dunno if I really "had" to but I had (and have) a pretty good relationship with my direct family and I always would. I think it would be very strange to just walk out of the house and disappear for hours (especially overnight!) without saying anything to anyone. like, forget anyone making me do it, I would personally not feel comfortable doing it.

maybe not as far as everyone I was with and exactly what we were doing but just a general "I'm going out with <name of friend they actually recognize> for a while, I'll probably be back around <time>, do/don't bother making me dinner" sort of thing

Yes, when I was a kid.

When I was a teenager my parents pretty much knew what I was doing, who I was doing it with and where.
Basically sitting in a shack with my friends drinking, smoking weed, listening to music and playing video games.
