I bought some tortilla shells recently (they're tasty!)... noticed one of the selling points on the package was "Authentic Style"

Authentic Style?

What does that even mean!? Moreover, what would something that's NOT authentic style mean? Would a non-authentic style tortilla shell be a bacon omelette, or what?

That means it is more conforming to traditional recipe, in how it is made and/or ingredients. Instead of super cheapo artificial ingredients etc.
