i still think it comes to shitty owners and unstable dogs that fuel the risk. can get a perfectly stable dog and a good owner. it's unlikely to attack other people.

i cant say for sure about dogs. it's hit and miss.

Less likely, not unlikely. Of course if a dog is raised incorrectly and always on edge itll act out more. The problem is a Pits nature is violent. So even if it was raised properly and loved, that wont mean it wont immediately lash out at an unknown dog or person if it gets startled. They were literally bred for fighting. No there actually aren't that many. It's pretty much just the APBT and AST. Lots of dogs get used in dog fighting for sure but only a few were deliberately bred exclusively for it.

Wrong, on multiple fronts. First, from jump this dog is an Am. Bully, not a Pit Bull. There is no such thing as inate, violent nature in domesticated dogs. Pit Bulls and other bull and terrier breeds score higher on thr American Temperament Tests than a lot of other popular breeds. It's mainly due to the pit fighting dog's history (APBTs, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Bull Terrier, etc) for safety reasons as the reason for them generally being people friendly. This does not translate to friendliness towards other dogs or animals, most Terriers, especially dogs with Bull and Terrier ancestry will have some level of animal and/or dog aggression.

Dogs on that list like Dogo Argentino were bred by combining pit bulls with less aggressive dogs specifically to formulate a breed better suited to hunting than bloodsport.

And pit bulls were not bred to be loyal to people. They were literally bred as a reaction to banning of bloodsport and at the time dog fighting hadn't been included on those bans and it was essentially a loophole. European terrier associations refused to admit pit bulls when they were first bred on account of not wanting to be associated with dog fights.

That's not what im saying but dogs pick up your emotions. If you're nervous and scared your dog is more likely to be as well. You can tell by how he's flinching and holding the leash. The dog is in control of the situation and he isnt. There are some people that walk their dog and there are dogs who walk their people

Why pitublls are the worse?

Theyre bred to keep attacking no matter what, like what any pitbull attack video and whether theyre getting hit by bikes, bats, bulls, horses, they keep getting back up and pressing the attack.

It almost as if it was a stupid idea to breed terriers (which were mean for hunting and speed) with the power and bulk of a bulldog.
