  1. Dave Chappell is my favorite comedian
  2. I watched his latest special and thought it was okay
  3. His views towards trans people and the queer community are ignorant and harmful. In the same special he calls out Twitter for not being a real place, yet its obvious that his only definition of LGBT people are what he sees on social media
  4. The man is self admittedly transphobic. So any opinions he has towards trans people can be disregarded as innately skewed and biased from a place of willful ignorance.

I am pretty sure he was being sarcastic when he said that. Transfobic people dont call up transcomedians and ask them to open for you as well as get close to said comedians. And then tear up while talking about that comedian.

I understand his views but many of the things he says in the special are ignorant and harmful. He isnt being sarcastic. He is transphobic and is aware of the fact.
