Context:

This dude consistently delivers shit to the wrong address. Hes delivered at least 5 packages of mine now to the wrong addresses. Some of those I eventually got because the people who wrongfully received them turned them in. Others I had to order replacements. He also delivered a check from my work to the wrong address. Thankfully that was turned in as well. Now I have yet another package that has been delivered but is nowhere in sight, which leads me to believe its once again at the wrong fucking address.

These problems all started right after the last mail person retired and this guy took over.

I know the USPS is slammed right now which is why I kinda feel like a dick for being upset, but its getting a little out of hand

it sounds like you have been very patient and given the benefit of the doubt enough times. a formal complaint feels justified, IMO.

That's not your problem though. You should very well feel justified with making a complaint especially with how patient you've been. If it's happening to you, it's definitely happening to other people. Imagine how many sensitive documents got delivered to the wrong address. Now imagine that not everyone is an upstanding citizen and probably went through it.

When I was living in my first apartment in Memphis, I would constantly get mail for my neighbor across the hall. I wonder how often they got my mail. Luckily I didn't get mail much in general.

It was a bonus check. They sent them out physically for whatever reason. I normally get direct deposit

As far as the USPS being slammed, it would only be a dick move to file a complaint for delays and slower-than-usual delivery.

Mistakes happen and one time I could reasonably be forgiving about, but having packages delivered to the wrong address on numerous occasions is a perfectly justified reason to complain.

Ok, glad to see Ive got some backup on this. I also feel bad constantly asking fir replacements from sellers because it looks like Im scamming them

Their job is literally to take the thing to the address that's on it. I get when you're delivering hundreds of things a day, a mistake will happen, but not every damn day.

Once or twice I can understand, but if he's consistently messing up you should say something.

I don't get the USPS. I applied there once when I was younger. I drove an hour away to take some super long test and never heard back. No letter of appreciation for wasting my time applying, nothing.

Then about a month later I got a new mail guy who seemed to be mentally challenged or super high on something. Whenever he'd deliver a package he'd bang and bang on the door until I answered. Once he even tapped on the window. I was like, what? Eventually he disappeared.

that one time where i needed my dogs medication that i ordered well before 3 weeks in advance didn't come through to me in time. it took 3 weeks for the usps to ship a package that started in indiana and ended in oregon.

had to beg my vet to release enough apoquil pills so my dog wouldn't get itchy flare-up's due to her allergys.

had to file a complaint as a result.

I would complain. I'm sympathetic towards tough work but if you can't read addresses properly, I'm sorry but you should not be a mailman.

So Im at work but my family tells me it apparently did get delivered today, despite him marking it as delivered at 11:00 am yesterday. So hes off the hook this time

This is consistent, so I would complain. Anytime you ever see them coming? like over the weekend? you can tell them directly.
