I left the company and it wasn't up to date and it showed that I still worked there. Someone reported a claim. Not sure if it was someone in my department or if it was corporate.

LinkedIn gave me a warning to change it in 14 days or risk having that job description removed or disabled.

Like who would do this? lol. I did notice publicly that two newer people that joined my department before they left look at my profile like twice in the last couple of days, and one added me.

Seems like such a petty thing to report.

I think it also potentially be a recruiter who works for my company. Because on the company profile if someone clicks on People I could still be on it along with other members. I think there was an option on LinkedIn to turn it off (on a company profile.

But the timing is weird with

Either way, I have to change it. ugh.

Actually, it must have been someone I know. I'm guessing my ex manager. Only one that seems petty enough to do so.

WTF? I still get congratulate so-and-so on her job anniversary, and I know she retired like 15 years ago! I know tons of people who dont update their profiles.

alright to be fair, one if the newer people in my department looked at my profile a few times in a few weeks. First time she saw that I didn't even have the job listed. I then put the job and my responsibilities after in my profile a week later, but it said I still worked there. So maybe her and the new associates were talking and the manager overhead and went to my profile a few days ago to file a claim that it was incorrect? I can't imagine the new associates being that petty. like I was cool with them and trained one of them, and he added me a few days ago too.
