I want to say Diamonds Are Forever or The Man With the Golden Gun, but I would probably go and see one of those movies if they were showing at a local theater. If there was a free theatrical showing of Quantum of Solace, I would stay home.

These. At least some of the cheesier old movies still have some charm to them and are entertaining in some way. QOS and Spectre were just bad.

Quantum is by far the worst of the Craig movies

Skyfall is not as amazing as everyone says.

Spectre is not a bad movie.

Quantum of Solace has to be one of the most boring films I've seen in the cinema.

The only non-Craig Bond film I've actually seen was Tomorrow Never Dies and that was miles better than any of the Craig ones. Skyfall was good, but the serious drama it had was never better than the sheer entertainment in TND.

Is it weird I don't even remember the plot and minor characters for any of them? Just the villains in Skyfall and spectre, and who died in Spectre.

So many heist and spy movies, I don't bother to think back about them. I have no problems with other movies

Havent seen new one, loved all but Quantum. I mean that movie literally made no fucking sense. It was during the writers strike and my gosh, it was like they just started shooting without a script or something.

I loved all of them but that one. I will say Im a rarity in that I liked Spectre the best, for some reason everyone seems to hate that one.

Ill go: Spectre > Casino = Skyfall >>> Quantum

I was laughing like a madman when the twist happened. That said, I'll take a film with silly elements like Spectre any day over something that is just boring like QoS.

it had actual female characters rather than sex objects. i appreciated that there was continuity from the other movies, along with there being actual emotional stakes. movies are meant to evolve, and i'm glad that bond has developed more as a character and as a series.

Spectre is like a solid 5/10 for me. Blofeld was underwhelming, the whole Bond tragic backstory situation was laughable, and every action scene was boring and by-the-numbers.

Except for the opening sequence. That whole section of the movie was top-notch stuff. I only wish the rest of it had been half that cool.

I havent seen it but I think the first couple Sean Connery movies are pretty bad. I was trying to watch all the Bond movies wading up to the release of this new one but the old ones have aged so poorly that I had give up pretty early on

They were examples. If you were listing Bond villains with motivation beyond "power," you probably wouldn't go all-out and name them all.
