The Crossover event for Sabrina the Teenage Witch and Riverdale is finally happening as 21 y/o Kiernan Shipka returned to Vancouver and will reprise her role as Sabrina Spellman and will be resurrected where she will bring the magic to the CW show which takes a magical turn!!.

Showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa confirmed the crossover adding they have been wanting a crossover event since her show started on Netflix and was sadly cancelled earlier this year.

It sets up perfectly at the Riverdale Season 4 finale when Cheryl Blossom delves into magic after finding out her long lost ancestor was burned to death after being accused of being a witch.

Sabrina will assist her character where she will learn more about her ancestor.

Both shows operate in the same Archie comics universe so the idea of magic in Riverdale will not be too much of a stretch.

Longtime cast member, Mark Consuelos announced his departure from the series after 4 seasons playing Hiram Lodge, the villain of the series. He was grateful for the opportunity to play the character on the Vancouver based show but admits he was missing home seeing his family back in Los Angeles
