I always find these "Well If that isn't working why don't you just change it!?" assumes you're either rich in middle America or a child, and either way have no responsibilities

People can't just quit their jobs and 180 their lifestyles without ending up broke and homeless or severely hurting their loved ones and colleagues

THAT'S the problem, not that they haven't thought about it but that they have and their current course of action is the least worst

That's what is so depressing, they are stuck

Step 2: receive trickle down therapy as they communicate what they're learning with each new session

1. You're assuming if you just quit your job then you're not fucking hundreds or thousands of people people over. Aka a teenagers retail job or IT call center

and

2. You can just instantly find another better job and escape your rut.

It's assuming the problem is you're a 17 year old walmart worker whose problems will be fixed if they simply go to work at McDonald's

That doesn't translate to professional adults

He'll the fact you assume the defacto problem is pay says a lot

And let's say that it is , what If your job that underpays you is the best that you can get?

You're not listening to what I am telling you. You're just talking like the issue is a 17 year old unhappy with a menial job going to another one.

If the issue in someone's life even is employment, that advice is pretty useless to any professional adult with any responsibilities whatsoever. Professional, familial or personal.

And let's even put that aside and say the issue is purely pay, what if the job you do that is crushing you pays better than any other job you can get? And you need that pay for people you care about to not suffer and die?

All your talking points seem to assume you're either rich or a child and have no responsibilities at all. That you're just spoiled and bummed out.

It reeks of being utterly sheltered
