I think that even if it turns out to be a good game, Marvel's Avengers muddied the waters, and a lot of gamers might end up passing on it/waiting for a deep sale, when they might have been willing to give it a chance otherwise

surprised they're even doing this after the dumpster fire that was their Avengers game.
I mean it made money but absolutely tanked post launch, especially compared to what they wanted out of a "live service" (barf). Doubt Guardians will put up nearly the numbers Avengers did to start with. --- Haven't had a good sig idea since 2006 ... Copied to Clipboard!

All their games flop, and rightfully so. Theyre out of touch as hell with the fan base. They havent even made one good Spider-Man film.
