first of all, the baseball hats. why does every single dude in these vlogs wear a baseball hat everywhere no matter what. it's like they're literally insecure without it. i swear they must be sleeping in the damn things.
the frequency of camera-cuts and the percentage of dialog that's just incoherent laughter dissolves one's attention-span like acid
the way david dobrik in particular laughs is deeply unsettling. mouth gaping open, eyes wide yet black and soulless. he basically laughs like a hyena. it's not amusement. it's a biological response. it's a nervous tick.
the whole thing is so blatantly scripted that it's hard to suspend disbelief for even a moment. i don't understand pushing scripted content in the form of a supposedly spontaneous vlog.
