Imit8m3 10/03/21 1:23:12 PM #13:	I grew up there. It depends on what time of year you want to go. If the hotels are busy you won't be able to find any cheap rooms. And by cheap, I mean less than $500/night. Things to do there are cheap for the most part. Beaches are all free. All the scenic viewing spots are free too. Tours and shows like the Polynesian cultural center and the luau at the Hale Koa are recommend, if you go to Oahu. Oahu is the main island and is like a mini Los Angeles. If you want to go to a more scenic island I suggest the west coast of Maui, with a tour van to do the road to Hana. The Hana trip will take the whole day & the road is twisty, so disregard this advice if you get motion sick. Maui is also the starting point of a boat tour to Molokini. Where there's WORLD CLASS snorkeling.
