Like seriously, what the fuck was that? The entire movie up until that point was almost entirely practical effects: real running vehicles, real stunts, real explosions, all that. The limited CGI they used may have been noticeable but made sense, like the sand storm and some of the big machinery at the Citadel.

But... the ending canyon scene? The guitar flying at you, in 3D of course, then bouncing right back perfectly, then the fucking steering wheel coming. You pray it doesn't do what you think it'll do, but it does - it "pops" right out of the screen, perfectly centered, and then the scene ends with you diving into the skull in the middle for the perfect 3D experience.

It breaks my immersion every single time. The gravity of the scene is lost when you're laughing at the end.

It's like something out of one of those 3D gimmick movies from the '80s. Cheesier than a Wisconsin dairy farm.
