Nobody knows, however I'd be very surprised if the next two contests aren't a 20th anniversary character battle in 2022 and a 20th anniversary games contest in 2024.

There was chatter about having it be characters that came out after 2010s, as well chatter about excluding prior winners. Both ideas were silenced. There is still conversation on separating divisions by genre, but that likely will be silenced as well.
