A baby bird fell out of its nest.

Is it to young to eat food?

I'm at work, it's a baby magpie, it's young and fluffy and cant fly, either it's to young to walk or its limping.

The parents where around earlier with it but they have flown. Maybe they are looking for food.

Not at work anymore but I can answer stuff.

The parents are there on and off, they haven't abandoned it yet. It's still really small, lots of fluff, hasn't grown proper feathers yet.

It can move a bit, more of a shuffle/ limp, it cant walk.

It crawled under an aircon unit earlier then went back near the tree.

I live nearby and a storm is starting up so I'm a bit worried for it, hopefully it hides under the air on system again.

We had a lot of wind the other day so it might have been blown from the nest.

The parents look like young birds too, maybe they didn't build the nest very well.

Put it back in the nest. If you can't reach the nest, try to put it in a open box or similar in a high place (where the parents can see and get to it, but - hopefully - cats cannot).

They nest high up in trees so no chance. The parents where swooping if anyone went near it too, magpies can be quite aggresive.

magpies are indeed aggressive

i had attacks by them. they swoop against my head rarely hitting the crown (if it did it hurt a bit).
i was just walking my dog.

i don't suffer it anymore since i don't live within walking distance of it's habitat.

Yeah spring has just started in Australia so it's prime nesting season, they are only gonna get more aggresive.

It's still alive, its hiding under the air con box again. The parent Is still around protecting it.

It's still trying to hobble around. Dont know if it's to young to move or hurt, hopefully it's ok.

That is 100% pure bullshit. The only time a parent will run from a baby is if a threat is around. You JUST touching it will NOT make the parent leave it.
