Dwight Howard didn't have 12 when he played with Devontae Cook in 2018-2019. He didn't have 12 when he played with Tobias Harris on the 76ers, either. He could have just taken 14. All but a couple of them either already wore that number for most of their career/on a previous stint with the Lakers, or always wore a different single-digit number that someone already had.
