It's not even close, as much as I like MH3U. MH4U is just better, and MH3U's water combat and less set complexity really drags it down. Water combat especially sucks cuz there are some weapons that are just way better than others, and it's really hard to do fights like Abyssal Lagiacrus even though he's cool as shit

4U is superior but it also introduces that dumb wystone mechanic and RNG relic gear that outclasses all craftable weapons in the game making them obsolete.

Ahh it really actually depends if you are okay with 3DS control vs console imo. 4U is the better choice for sure but 3DS 1 stick control...
