I've never been a fan of hammers so know absolutely 0 about them. Just that Conc aura is the only one that gives it + damage. My bad. Also I'd kill for a white 2 socket pally shield with +20 or 30 resist all so that I could runeword it and go immune to Freeze. I think I could progress through Hell with that. I thought of some more information that people probably know about: Item durability does not lower on mercenaries. This means that you can give them ethereal items and they will never become destroyed. Ethereal items tend to have improved stats and lower stat requirements, making them staples for mercenary runewords. Set items never roll ethereal. Teleporting causes your mercenary to teleport to your new location, most of the time. I tend to use this a lot to avoid damage or keep my mercenary from trying to target Mephisto while doing the moat trick. Holding shift while buying potions fills your belt slots with that potion, unless another potion type occupies that column. Holding shift while buying scrolls fills your tome completely. This is mainly for single player and access to the /players command. In Hell Lower Kurast, there are chests in the huts by the campfires which can drop mid to high runes. Someone compiled a bunch of data and found that these are patterned, based off the amount of players in the game. The idea is to start a game, waypoint to Lower Kurast, teleport until you find the campfire(s), and open the chests there. Also did not find any runes in lower kurast, but in bazaar and sewers, got a sol and a lum (new record for highest found since original d2). Skeleton mages didn't make it and I lost a few golems but I don't have any extra points in either of those skills. Regular skeletons and merc all tanked like champs and had no casualties among them. Hopefully this trend of "nm is easier than normal relatively" continues. Now have skeletons and mastery maxed and puttibg poibts ibto corpse explosion for inevitable pain in the dick phys immune shitheads when I get to hell. --- I do not receive notifications, so using the @ feature will not do anything.
