Chesh 09/25/21 1:36:13 PM #1:	Started seeing a guy on a FWB basis, he was in an "open relationship" with a woman (I kind of doubt that was actually true, I think he was cheating but not 100% sure), things were good and then he suddenly started acting really romantic towards me during our meetings. I caught feelings fast, probably to a mentally ill level if I'm being honest, but I didn't tell him that (although I may have inadvertently hinted that I had feelings a bit) and started feeling very hesitant to meet him again because I knew it would just end badly. I stopped texting him and only responded to his texts, and I did meet him a few more times but it was awkward because I was trying to play it cool and so I acted distant. He started acting flaky, making plans to meet but not following through, and it just kind of fizzled out -- there wasn't an official rejection, but it's done because I can't take being involved with this person anymore. I'm just ignoring communications from him from now on, if he even does try to talk to me again. I guess I made a mistake by engaging with this person at all... I never thought that I would develop feelings like that, it usually takes me months or years to even start liking someone really. I just feel so empty now, and all the progress I've made in my mental health has taken a step back -- I recently relapsed on a bad habit I've been fighting hard to overcome (not drugs lol), I can't bring myself to exercise, and I just feel so depressed. I've certainly learned my lesson. I am never engaging with people who are already in ANY kind of relationship again, and I honestly think that even if they aren't in one, I'm not ready to have feelings for someone because I haven't completed the work on myself necessary to be around other people.
