Depends on where you live and your family situation, but assuming full-time work, 50k a year isn't bad at all.

comes out to approx $50k/year. it's a solid living in a moderate CoL area, but not in a place like NYC or SF

Its below a living wage when you account for inflation, yet its more than three times the federal minimum wage. My answer is no.
Also, you cannot predict what it adds up to in a year. Hourly wage does not mean youre getting five eight-hour shifts per week. More often than not, you get sent home early because corporate doesnt want to pay you. With that said, I would probably accept it because nobody else wants to pay more than $15/hr, which is pretty much top dollar now. --- So long, Thanks for all the fish! ... Copied to Clipboard!
