Currently at a restaurant. They serve water thusly:
Metal cups are pre-set at the table, and water is brought to you via a closed plastic pitcher. The cup is room temperature, presumably. The water itself is chilled, but purely liquid. However, put the water in the cup, the water freezes. Wtf happened --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

Im no botanist, but its probably the lead in the water reacting to the cold formed steel cup
