r/programming - buncha boring stuff, better off using hackernews

r/cscareerquestions - a mountain of cringe. basically group therapy for 2nd year CS majors who bought into the FAANG-or-bust mentality

r/learnprogramming - entire userbase is perpetually in the first week of learning javascript, feels like cscareerquestions but for web dev so basically even stupider

r/computerscience - people asking questions they should be asking on one of the previous two subs

r/compsci - has to be so strict about what's allowable content in order to avoid devolving into one of the above 3 that there's almost always a more relevant place to post whatever it is, literally 1.5m subscribed users and barely gets any activity at all

there's more but i have nuggets to eat
