Basically, Congress needs to give the OK to raise the debt ceiling for the Dept of Treasury to borrow so they can you know... pay for shit. The thing they did with total Congressional approval 3 times for Trump. The thing they've done without fault since the 1960's.

Mitch McConnell is now saying that he will urge the Republicans not to allow Biden to do it and instead default on all their loans... you know, causing international markets to tank and fuck everyone over.

Can this asshat just retire already?

I know you are just about swimming in the kool aid if you think this but the Democrats have tried and tried to include Republicans in past legislation only for the the Republicans to still not vote for it. And usually they hack the legislation apart in the process. So if it does get passed its a wreck.
