I don't think it has. My childhood was shit and I had a lot of issues in my early adulthood/college years bc of it, but I'm finally starting to overcome all of the issues. I think I'll be a lot happier in the future, but you never know.

IIRC the median age on this board back when I used to post was like... 16 or something. Probably most people on here couldn't have peaked by then, or if you have by that point, what even is wrong with your life.

I'm in the exact same boat dude. I'm 29 and I'm finally starting to get of what actual self esteem feels like. In some ways, I wish I had realized all this earlier, but then my self esteem kicks in and forgives myself; nothing wrong with being a late bloomer. Hopefully it works out, it easily could not, but for now it's good which is good enough.
