I never understood it. All the technology we have today is furthered more and more through the scientific method. Come up with an idea, test it out, use what works and discard what doesn't work. We have instantly accessible internet, supercomputer phones, satellites giving us internet everywhere, cars with better and safer features, planes that can fly you wherever you want to go in a fraction of the time as any other method of travel, etc. We produce food way more optimally than ever, factories, preservation technology is better, refrigerators, heaters, air conditioning. Hell, people take Tylenol when they feel like they have a cold, Nyquil with coughs or to sleep, Pepto Bismol if they have diarrhea, bandages and antibacterial cream for cuts, go through surgery, etc.
How can someone use all the modern day conveniences of science and technology and then suddenly cherry pick to not believe something otherwise? If it was the Amish that were against vaccines, honestly so be it. At least they commit to their stance. It doesn't make any sense to discredit one of the most modern important inventions while using 99% of other modern inventions just because you want to be right about something. --- itt my post is the best ... The part that makes the least sense is how it's only the covid vaccine. They're fine getting a new flu shot every year with no question, but covid? New so scary flu has sorta been around long. Even if its a new shot every year.
