I want to use my Gf's 3DS for something and she's insistent there's no battery left on it since she hasnt played it in months. But I'm pretty sure the battery on there only drains if used so there should still be battery on it.

Wake up. You have to wake up. *currently a preta/hungry ghost*
Dai Grepher: I was wrong. My entire theory is incorrect. Zero Mission IS a remake of Metroid.

Yeah, but the 3DS battery drains pretty slowly so it wouldn't be weird if the 3DS still works.

But really, if you leave your system lying around for a long time, you should probably charge it regardless.

I have mine charging pretty much indefinitely and I know it's bad for the battery but I leave games on standby and I don't want to lose progress.

if she left it on red and it's been sitting for months then yea it might be dead by now. it's like the switch or any rechargeable battery. they'll drain over time. but it's probably gonna have to take more than a couple months to do it.

i just tried to hook up my switch and it was completely dead. been months since i played it and it's been unplugged in a case. but the switch just goes into standby instead of fully turning off so makes sense that would die faster than being turned off.

If you stick your D in a 3DS, does it become a 4DS?

I do not receive notifications, so using the @ feature will not do anything. I might see your post and respond though if I have already been in the topic.

Unless you have an extremely small micropenis I dont think it will fit.

All batteries will discharge over time and need a recharge if not used. Especially if they're in a device.
Thanks mom!

Yes unless you remove the battery from the hardware.
