Ive recently started learning how to program again, and Im working on a simple game for smartphones with Unity. Im making it by myself, so its not much, but Im enjoying programming it. I hope youll be able to play with the app when its available.

You're probably thinking that Square told him that Balan Wonderworld is his only chance to make a platformer under them. 'course it bombed so bad that Yuji was fired so this is probably for the better, especially since he prefers more simple control schemes (to a fault with Balan Wonderworld's 1 button gameplay)

You know, I actually feel bad for him. I honestly think the internet jumped on Balan Wonderworld and made it way worse than it actually was. It seems like Naka really wanted to make a super old school 3D platformer for kids (like literal 5 year olds). I feel like a lot of people were trying to judge it by comparing it to Odyssey and other really polished modern games which are built on giving players freedom and lots of movement options.

It's still a badly made, unfinished, game and not particularly fun, but it didn't deserve to be mocked/dragged through the mud like it was I feel.
