Apparently there are a lot more people than I expected in the military who are anti-COVID vaccine even though they had to take a series of vaccines to even serve in the first place (and get a flu vaccine every year).

I have known a few people who are specifically (genuinely) concerned about mRNA technology, and have no issue with the "traditional" means used in the flu shot - and thus take it, but not the covid vaccine. (For context, Pfizer is the only vaccine in use where I live.)
