A now 17-year old girl, who is active in the Conservative youth wing, internally reported the MP after he allegedly wanted her to send nudes on Snapchat when she was 15 or 16 and trying to have sex with her while they were alone together. Age of consent in Sweden is 15 but asking for nudes of someone under 18 is child pornography and trying to have sex with someone under 18 if youre in a position of power over them is also illegal. The girl has now officially made a police report since the Conservative party hasnt done enough to handle the situation. So the MP has now taken a time-out. Allowing teenagers to have sex, instead of shaming it or making it illegal, has lead to a greater use of protection and birth control. A teacher or similar should not be able to take advantage of a teenager though.
