I was playing christian back then, so I woudn't want to get with anyone who wasn't already taking the holly bibble seriously. Plus, I only did 1 year of public HS. Ended up in an all male school after that. I was robbed, I tell you

It takes years to hone the battle hardened gamer skills I have now, it'll only take days to get enough relationship experience to match that. I think I'll take that tradeoff

I mean, I tried. I just didnt get that many chances. Anyone I saw, dumped me after a very short time, but I typically got to see that look of horror on a girls face when asking them out or had to hear about it from someone else, like so-and-so was talking about how weird it was that you asked them out

Btw, if you did have high school relationships, yeah, it gives you some confidence. But you also quickly learn it's a different game when you're older. Or maybe I just stopped trying or showing up. Either way, you can't treat women lile they're high schoolers anyway. If you can, that's probably a redflag on both ends.

I could have. There were a couple girls interested in me. I was too chicken shit. Just like at college too in my early 20s. I regret it. At least with high school, some of it was justified because I wasn't allowed to date due to my cultural background--and i had no money.

I was too into my nerdy stuff in high school to care. But I probably wouldn't have been able to pull it off since I was so inexperienced with talking to girls.

On the other hand, there were 4 girls over those years who were hitting on me (one was even bold enough to talk to me while putting her hand on my thigh, and another where I next year found out had had a crush on me via her friend), but I was just both too shy, unsure and third guessing to take it to the next level.

In college I just decided to go for it. Damn the torpedoes. Turned the shyness off like a switch. (easier in college, I had no history with anyone there, so it was easier to try new things and at worst next semester is a whole new group of people)
