He sorta does, though. For instance, in "Why Did I get Married, Too?" he really dives into relationship roles. The lesson is that both parties in the relationship, can, if necessary, take leadership in the relationship if the other one is down at any given time. The man shouldn't feel like all the responsibility is on him when it comes to money. Gender roles are silly.

Do they now? I don't really think much of his movies are that deep.

I felt those movies were incredibly dramatized for entertainment purposes. I don't really think it had much moral teachings but that's just me.

I can't say that is too far off from the truth according to my life experiences though.

There's nothing deeper than a Tyler Perry movie (well, maybe the hole at the Yiga hideout is). I suggest re-watching it though. :)
