What items? Brads key just gets you extra costumes. If you mean the item expansion or the other thing just leave whichever makes B/Leon easier.

Im guessing Leon wants the side pack more, he has a lot more weapons to juggle. Bow gun sucks so I always use it up whenever I get ammo

I ended up leaving both. Ive got around 30 flame rounds and near as many acid rounds with some grenade rounds to spare and a full spark shot. Who do I use the spark shot on?

Might as well use it on the final A boss.

Got my first A ranking on Leon B :D

and I was only a minute over 4 hours; had way too much ammo by the end, it was overkill.

I got my first S on Leon A. I earned the Infinite Rocket Launcher.

I also did it with 0 saves.

What hurt, though, is one of my runs literally ended at the final boss in Leon A.

I think the series was always action based, it just wasn't well executed lol. Dem tank controls after all. There's a lot less grace in the movement of RE1 and it's a lot harder to dodge because it's so many narrow corridors. RE2 generally has more room.

I liked RE: Village even more than I liked RE7, which my cousin and I debate all the time as we're both huuuuge RE fans. RE2 remake is still the best survival horror I've played since the dawn of the genre though.

This was the first time I've ever unlocked Hunk on my own steam as well. Feels glowy :3

Yeah I was under the delusion Hunk took multiple A rank playthroughs, but I DISTINCTLY remember Tofu taking like 6 lol

It's "S" in Japan, "A" in the US, but the manual still says "S", which may be why you got confused.

I've done a 2:xx NTSC with 00 saves before. Probably crossed my wires with other games.
