That's the Dollars trilogy.
There is no Man With No Name.

Joe is a calm and collected bounty hunter in the 1900s.
Manco is a hotheaded and foolish bounty hunter in the 1890s.
Blondie is a calm, collected, and wise bounty hunter in the 1860s.

They were three different characters from three different decades. Their stories are unrelated. They all come highly recommended though.

Pretty much every box set says "Man with No Name trilogy" on it so they probably just stuck with that.

So what? It's a marketing gimmick that stuck and sounds cool.

I like the theory that the man with no name is like a spectre of the the west that rides from place to place doing things. Another is he's a western legend and the movies are just tales of the wild west and that's why there's discrepancies of time and such. Doesn't really matter though.
