25 minutes isn't too bad
One time at Denny's me and my gf waited 45 minutes. It wouldn't had been as bad if they would've at least checked up on us and not served a family of 8 that came in like 20 minutes after us, before us. I was going to go to Applebee's for lunch, but the restaurant was nearly full, so I walked to a different restaurant instead. It was a grill restaurant with very few customers, so my food was delivered quickly

I'm a server and whenever a small group shows up after a big family, I always take the small group first and try to get it dealt with before I take over that big table. Hell, half the time I'm pissed off when the small group(mostly 2) don't know what the hell they want and the big group is ready and I HAVE to take the big group first. Then the small group gets upset after lol.
