The only truly great movie they made was the original matrix, everything else has been awful to mediocre at best. I used to really dig V for Vendetta, but it's really fallen in my rankings over the years. It wasn't as smart or as brave a movie as I once thought it was. You can't sell a film on visual effects anymore, everyone can do those sorts of things, it's no longer special.
