Literally everything in Japan has had an Eva commercial. Shit they play Cruel Angel's Thesis at bon odori. I got some Eva potato chips that were pretty good last year. Basically more often than not a convenience store will have some game or anime related promotion going on. Lawson today had FFXIV, Kimetsu no Yaiba, and Jujutsu Kaisen promotions all going on at the same time. That's just life in Japan.
