I haven't bought new TV in about 10 years, so a lot of the newer things I don't really know a whole lot about. Really I just want something that will look good enough for games and movies.

OLED is the best but youre gonna be spending a lot for one of those

i have a $500 40 inch 4K Samsung tv from like 5 years ago and the ps5 looks great on that but I also sit like 3 feet away when I play

I have a cheaper Vizio v405-g9 that was like 200$ and looks good. That TV will look amazing I'd you went 10 years without am upgrade.
What is your budget for a TV though so we can help more?

I mean at this point most TV's even in the cheaper section at 4k look pretty good. Yes, the top end TV's do look better but it's not a night and day difference for most.

If the TV has good reviews on Amazon 9 times out of 10 you will be 100% happy with it.

Under $1000. Probably $700 or so is the most I would actually consider spending.

The best gaming tv according to rtings is the 55inch version of your same model.

idk if the 50 inch is as good might be. Sometimes with the smaller sizes they take features out though. 50$ more saves you the head ache its 599$ at best buy and might be on Amazon too

they just say they tested the 55inch on rtings and consider it the best

Vizio doesn't make good TVs. Are you concerned with picture? Most people aren't so this TV would be great for them.

Go to a store and look at some TVs. The biggest things you want to look for are how the TV handles movement (check for blurs), the black level (is it black or grey?), and how it halo's (check out credits or something light on a dark screen, the smaller the halo = the better the back light control).

Get a salesperson to show you some of the best TVs and some of the worst. If you cannot tell a difference, and many cannot, then do not waste the money on something you will not appreciate. Do not feel you have to appreciate picture quality and get a good TV, it isn't necessary to a happy life. Buy what fits you and move on with your life.

None of those are good TVs.

Do you want it to be cheap, big, or high quality? Because you cannot do all three.

Thanks for the suggestion! It arrived today, I love it! Don't have the PS5 set up yet, but my brother and I played Smash Bros. on it for a while. I cannot wait to see what FF7R will look like on this thing!

Im impressed on how things look on my 40 Samsung. Sure beats my old 12 CRT. Some things look still a bit blurry, but thats just Nintendo Switch.

I got Samsung Q80T 65" or for my PS5 specifically for the hdmi 2.1. So I would make sure you check for that otherwise it's a waste of time imo.
