Kitt 09/04/21 1:51:16 PM #1:	They somehow manage to lower the quality of the good movies and make the ones that are considered bad more enjoyable. I use to dig X1, 2, and First Class. Now they don't seem all that great anymore. Meanwhile, I went back and watched X3 and Origins: Wolverine. They're not good, but at least they're so stupid that they're actually kind of fun. You can thank Simon "I fucked up the Dark Phoenix saga twice and single-handedly killed this franchise" Kindberg for that. At least Days of Future's Past is still dope. Yes, he wrote the script, but he wrote it based on an already existing outline written by Matthew Motherfuckin' Vaughn (he's awesome). Apocalypse is what happens when you let Kindberg write a script entirely on his own and Dark Phoenix is what happens when you let him write AND direct (his first time directing even...). Not sure how Disney plans on going about doing it, but the bar isn't exactly too low for them. Just keep Simon Kindberg the fuck away from them. I think he still have some active contract that allows him to be involved with X-Men movies in some capacity. Boring color grading, boring music. fake grimdark The first one was meh. I remember seeing it in theaters and leaving out with no strong opinions towards it whatsoever.
