People read and oogle more over the disaster event than the casualty rate. meanwhile if there's a school shooting or terrorist act or plan crash... and just a few people die... suddenly everyone is full of grievances and organizing memorials. Or the fact that they even died honestly... Their deaths are made more into a statistic to show how severe the disaster is. Meanwhile when there's a big car crash or plane accident or school shooting, people look at the victims more.
