The time travel mechanic is like one big puzzle to solve and always kept me engaged (although the story isn't bad for a JRPG story either). The grid-based battle system is cool, but runs out of ideas a bit later on. ~~Aht~~'s traps > all. I used to always get it mixed up with Radiata Stories, but I had no idea the two games were linked (loosely?) until recently.
